What are the main Sources of Saturated Fat

 According to new studies and research saturated fats are very important for the human body and act as building blocks of many cellular structures. The new Canadian studies revealed no direct relationship between the intake of saturated fats and cardiovascular disease, coronary disease, and diabetes.

Dr Gupte (General physician at iCare Clinic) says that a deficiency of saturated fats may disturb the immunity, hormone regulation process, and digestion of fat-soluble vitamins. (Vitamin A, B, C K)

Saturated Fats



According to her research, trans fats mostly harm human health rather than saturated fats. She said breast milk contains saturated fat which helps to grow the baby. It is important not to eliminate saturated fats from daily food; moderate consumption is essential for a healthy life.

According to the American Heart Association, the sensible amount of saturated fats individuals should eat is 5 to 6 % of all calories consumed.

According to recent studies and research Saturated Fats are not the cause of damaging human health, it is Trans-Fats such as the hydrogenated oils that keep processed foods and margarine shelf-stable, are primarily industrially produced and were associated with an increased risk of death from various causes including cardiovascular disease, and a diagnosis of coronary heart disease.
